Is there more to the story?!?!

Telecommunications

I have been through the T&C's of my contract. I am a reasonable person with above average intelligence & I have been through the executorship process. I want Vodacom to take responsibility & send the clause (that I believe does NOT exist) that states Vodacom has a right to claim against a person's estate. The last call centre operator I spoke to actually asked me why am I enquiring about this now, why not wait for the event to take place? I managed to remain calm and told him- there are no phones in heaven I cannot wait! Someone dies, Vodacom requires the letter of executorship & death certificate. Vodacom then lodge a claim against the deceased's estate for the remainder of the contract & any balance due on the handset. If I die today- amount is R13 500. It's as if the heir of my estate, my brother (age 14) is being punished with the balance of a contract he clearly cannot afford because I died? Suggested insurance? I have life insurance- For school/home/car/- even his own cell phone contract! Why should he have to settle MY contract with money left to him? Why does Vodacom treat a death similarly to reneging on a contract? And where did I agree to it in the T&C's?
