Late Debit Orde

I have a contract with MTN and I have a problem with their debit order system. This month my account was debited on the 3rd of March of which the agreement was the first of every month. I usually transfer my money to my other bank account after my debit orders on the 2nd. MTN decided to debit on the 3rd and I got an overdraft, on the very same day the money was returned to my account and on the 7th I am told I still need to pay for March. I don't understand why this is happening, now I have to pay fees for unpaid items of which I have nothing to do with as I had money on the 1st in the account and it was not debited so now the fees are my problem! I am not happy!
