I have been with Web Africa for over a year. I had a great and uneventful experience until about 4 months ago when I upgraded my line to 2 Meg. Ever since I've been getting - 450 kbps download speeds which is absolutely ridiculous! I've been emailing them every night since then and the excuses have ranged from their network to Telkom and my router. The latest is my Telkom exchange. Still I pay for a 2 meg line and come home to a 450 kbps line. This is absolutely ridiculous - in the last four months they have clearly been chasing ghosts and I really cant believe a word they are saying any more. Its time to move on.
I just feel so sorry for people that might not have the technical knowledge that I have - I can only imagine how they are abused with WA (actually believing its Telkom and buying new routers)! I'm on the verge of reporting them to the consumer protector.
