Line speeds and upgrade promises not being kept

Hi.

I am currently on a Telkom 4mb line. My line has been very intermittent and i get 1100ms pings on certain days and overall speeds that are 10-30% of what I pay for on monthly basis.

I have been very patiently waiting for the line upgrades to happen. According to the table below (from telkoms own press releases) my line should have been upgraded 2 months ago.

Up to 4, 096 kbps/10, 240 kbps Up to 10, 240 kbps 11 November - 18 November 2013

Could someone please explain to me why the upgrade has not happened and why we continue to pay full price for 1/3 of the service.

i think in future telkom should not make generic commitments or at the very least communicate their plans more clearly to their INDIVIDUAL clients.

My patience is wearing very thin and calls to the help line just overload my SMS inbox with false claims that my issue has been resolved.

A prompt and individualised response that actually addresses (read UPGRADE MY LINE) my query will be highly appreciated
