I had booked my 9 month blackberry torch handset on the 2013-01-05. After numerous calls with Shaun, to enquire about the phone. He always told me it was at the repair centre, then I told me once that it has been dispatched back to the store and I will get a call once it arrives. On the 2013-01-24, I still did not receive the handset, so I called the repair centre only find out that the phone had only been booked on the 2013-01-24. After communicating with the manager whom stated the issue will be resolved and be treated as urgency. I got a call stating that the phone had been damaged at the Bloemfontein repair centre. Veloshni told me that the slide had been dented, and subsequently changed that to "paint work falling off". I was then swapped with a malfunctioning refurbished handset. I have had issues with that handset since day 1! I got a call from the manager at the hvrc in Bloemfontein, whom understood my situation and acknowledged that it is unfair for me to have received that malfunctioning handset because of the negligence on MTN's side. He asked me to take the phone into the store, book it in and he will have it resolved by the end of the week, which is today.
