I am utterly disgusted by the service rendered by Vodacom, My account was handed over for non-payment when i was unemployed a few years ago. I recently visited one of the Vodashops and requested a balance on my account, in order to settle the amount. The amount was given as per request, i was informed to fax POP and request a paid up letter thereafter- to my surprise when i called to request the letter, i was informed that the initial amount given was incorrect. The collections department then gave me a written full amount after i called several times for it. I eventually settled the amount after a few days as i was told that, after settling the amount i should call after 3 days for the paid up letter. I called and i then told that i will get the letter after 7 to 14 working days. I called on the 8th day for a follow up and AGAIN they said 7 to 21 days. This is pathetic and nobody should the patience for such unprofessional behaviour. Why was i give incorrect information in the first place, i feel like i was just led to settle the account first and then be treated as if i'm no longer a client. I will not rest until this matter is resolved to my satisfaction.
