At the end of June 2013 I went to one of the RCS groups to settle my account. The cashier as Sportscene N1 City gave me a settlement amount, I assumed to close the account. In August (dated- 12 August) I received a letter fro RCS Collections stating that I owe a further outstanding amount of R105.49 and that they have informed the Credit Bureau of my bad payment history. On Saturday the 24th of August I paid an amount which as this time was R160.52 at Sterns N1 City just to resolve this matter. I spoke to a JEANNE from customer service on the same day explaining to her how I could be reported to the Credit Bureau when I paid a settlement amount at the end of June and on that day have paid the supposed R160.52. I have written a letter to RCS with still haven't receive any response. Jeanne reassured me the amount of R160.52 will be debited back into my bank account, and that the account will be closed in 36 days. I am utterly disgusted with the threat of the Credit Bureau, as I have never skipped a payment in the 6 years and I paid everything I had to on TIME. I settled the account in June. I need the matter to be cleared at the Credit Bureau and a written apology.
