I have been paying off my account for a couple of months now. Beginning of March 2013, I contacted the department handling my account and requested a settlement amount. I accepted the amount and requested that they cancel the debit order ASAP and that the settlement amount will be paid on the 28th of March. I also requested that they send me a mail confirming all the discussed details. I NEVER received that mail.
On the 28th I phoned them again and confirmed the amount and said I am paying them as we speak and then again asked that they have to make sure the debit order is cancelled. I mailed them the POP and requested a settlement letter. On the 3rd of April the debit order went off my account!!! I mailed and complained, and I phoned a few times and was told that NOW I had to wait 7 working days before they can reverse the payment but they will request a reversal. I requested a settlement letter again and was told it could only be done after the reversal. 7 days later, I call to confirm reversal. Payment was not reversed. So I had to request it again. AND I STILL HAVE TO WAIT 4 DAYS FOR A SETTLEMENT LETTER.
