For more than a year now, I have been trying to get these dullards to understand I have a major problem with my ADSL line. I have: Bought a new modem, used Telkom's Guest acc, Used my ISP Guest acc, used my acc, replaced filters, had my port reconfigured and rebooted a kazillion times! Sadly I still have random disconnects and uber lag. For this last month - no internet from 21/12/2012 - 01/01/2013 (thx Telkom intl friends and fam were unreachable during a preiod when one would have loved to make contact!!!) Yay! - connection restored on 01/2013 and went off on 04/01/2013. Endless calls to 10210 - confirmed my problem and handed it over to the techies - lool, me thinks they are cashing in on o/t - fault logged as fixed when it is clearly not!!! Yesterday was the pits - dc every 3-4 mins and Telkom SMS's me to say line tested and found to be working -! Are you going for the "we bigtime" award?

Would appreciate it if a Technician asigned to the fault would contact me so we can resolve this once and for all - logging the fault as resolved, do not fix the problem guys :)

PS: me wonders if my payments for this dis-service were as sporadic as my connection -will it be OK
