27 January I purchased a data package from 8ta. There was no signal, even though this had been checked numerous times before I bought it. I lost an entire week's worth of work while they said they were sorting out the issue. In that first 7 day period, not once did anyone at 8ta pick up the phone to contact me, yet on day 5, it was ok for them to close the file! It was re-opened, but after many more calls and the same lines of 'escalating the matter', 'will provide you with feedback within 72hrs' and 'I am sorry for the inconvenience', I'm now done. The package expires tomorrow and it's been almost 5 weeks with absolutely no feedback. I had a missed call and message from 8ta Monday 25th. I immediately called back and left a message for that person. Half an hour later, someone else from 8ta called to check if my number was working because it was entered on the system as 'number not working'. That was the last I heard and now all I want is my money back and to never have to deal with the company again.
