Roaming not working still!

I have tried since the 12th of February to activate my roaming, and by Thursday 21st i was old it is live. I spoke to Adam and another guy at Tygervalley store in Bellville. Now i am in spain, and my phone says roaming is not live for my sim. So i have to find free wifi to whatsapp my wife to call MTN, then Mtn refuse to help her saying i must call them directly.

Does Mtn understand that without roaming i am unable to call you?? Do you want me to call from a payphone in the street, holding on at international rates for your call centre??

Embarrassing for Mtn. I am attending the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, and now have to contact eveyone i am meeting to tell them Mtn is unable to turn my roaming on in two weeks, so i will have to buy a local Sim just to make and receive calls.

Absolutely shocking service and incompetence.
