On Business, Roaming is not Activated as Requested

I called the Cell C call centre early last week to activate my roaming as I was going to be out the country for business from Thursday and needed to receive calls. I was reassured by the Cell C call centre representative I spoke to that my roaming was activated after confirming certain details. On Friday I found out that I could not place or receive calls or messages as my roaming was not activated. I have switched my phone off and on many times and it is still not activated. I am away on business for a limited period and have had to waste time and money purchasing a local sim card, missed important calls and been unable to receive important messages. I notified Cell C by the website of this on Saturday but I have recieved no response.
I recently became a Cell C customer for the first time less than a month ago.

Please resolve this ASAP.
