I took out a contract with MTN three weeks ago, and chose the phone that I wanted (Sony Xperia T - THE FEATURED PHONE). They ordered it and said it will be there the next week, I said it was not a problem and I will wait. The next week I arrive there and they said they have not received it, it is probably on the way. After two weeks of waiting I contacted MTN to notify them of the delayed delivery of the phone, they said they will get back to me once the problem has been resolved. After 3 weeks MTN finally get back to me and ask if I have received a phone yet, I said no, then he said sorry there has not been a delivery yet, but he will check again. This is unacceptable, I understand Phalaborwa is not a town that would be frequented often, but THREE! weeks! The branch finally got hold of me and said they cannot get a phone anywhere, which is very hard to believe for a company like MTN. That is ridiculous. I have told them that if I don't get contacted next week Monday with the exact date I am receiving my phone I am cancelling my contract.
