Unable to process credit card details

5 Dec 2012 I updated my credit card details with Cell C as my previous credit card had been cancelled due to credit card. On 29 Dec 2012 payment on the credit card wasn't processed and the 2 contracts that I have with cell c were suspended. I contacted the Cell C call centre on the 8th Jan 2013 to investigate and was advised that the correct credit card details were in the system and that payment would be debited from the card in 24hours and the suspension lifted. 24 hours came and went and nothing happened. I called the call centre on the 9th Jan 2013 and was advised that Cell C can only process updated credit card details the following month I.e. in Jan 2013 and not in the month that you give it to them!!! I then visited a Cell C shop at Sandton City and told an assistant my story and he took copies of my ID and Credit Card and advised me that he would contact the Call Centre (as they were useless - his words) and phone me back. It's now the 12th Jan 2013 and I haven't heard from the assistant, and my lines are still blocked! Can this be so difficult? My Vodacom experience on the same event was immediate lifting of suspension on my contract, payment processed in 7days!!
