Poor service from Billing

On 31 July 2013, my credit card expired. My cell c debit order was set to go through on 30th of each month. I acknowledge that I had not thought about notifying them of my new credit card details. On 5 August they processed my payment which was returned due to the card having expired. I received 2 sms's within a minute of each other. the first notifying me that my payment couldn't be processed due to my credit card having expired and the 2nd informing be that my phone had been blocked. I immediately went to the nearest Cell C branch with my new credit card but was told that they couldn't do anything. I phoned 140 and gave them the new card details and asked them to process the payment. this was done immediately and appears on my credit card statement. 2 days later my phone is still blocked as they have no record of having received the payment. They want me to supply proof of payment, but they initiated the payment. It is hard to believe that with them having initiated the payment they have no record of it.
