SHOCKING, UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT BY CALL CENTRE

I had a call from a woman in the call centre regarding our corporate account. She told me that I had to supply HER with my company registration number to "verify" our details for "security". She REFUSED to tell me what it was in connection with, or whether or not there was a problem with our account. I told her I was unprepared to give her any info unless she told me what it was in connection with. She refused, and said I had to phone her back so that I could "see" that she was phoning from Vodacom. I asked to speak to her supervisor but was told that she was not available. Supervisor is apparently "Namhla". I know for a fact that this person is from Vodacom, as this has happened before. Previously, the same woman called with the same attitude, however, I received a call later that day from a man who was professional and friendly, told me what they needed to know, and only thereafter asked me a security question, which I was then happy to give. Vodacom, this is unacceptable and unprofessional. If there is a problem with our account, and our service is suspended, I will hold you liable as your staff refuse to communicate effectively. Our account is FULLY paid.
