I got a contract on my HTC Sensation phone in May 2012. 2 months later the volumes button became loose and i took the phone back and Sikelela (consultant) said there is nothing they can do about it since its wear and tear. Eventually the button fell off. In late January i experienced dropped calls on both incoming and outgoing calls and the poor network signal and I went back to 8ta to book my phone for repairs. Kim helped book it in and said nothing about the missing button. Then 2 weeks later when I went to follow up I was told my phone was quoted for R1160 and cents to repair it since its now out of warranty because of the volume button that is fell off. When I asked what does the button and network have to do with each other I was not answered. On the 19th Feb the consultant from Allied Mobile Communication called to tell me of the same story I already heard from Babalo at the store. I explained my concerned and she said she doesn't understand the why the phone was booked in with the volume button missing. Now I have to pay R1160.. so that they can send the phone back and I can keep it in my house with network issues because of the incompetence of 8ta. Very unhappy!!!
