Charged for a data bundle and mobile data!

I requested MTN bolt on a 1GB data bundle to my MTN contract in Dec 2011. I've been billed R254 per month since Dec 2011 for the data bundle as well as mobile data on top of that i.e. MTN haven't deducted my mobile data usage from the bundle. I eventually switched off mobile data on my android phone and only switch it on when I really needed it as I couldn't understand how I was using 1GB plus what MTN were charging me. For e.g. in Oct 2012, I used a total of 219 MB and was charged for it as well as the 1GB bundle. I called 808 and MTN confirmed they hadn't "activated the bundle on the network"! I requested MTN credit me the 15 months x R254 and the MTN 808 business interaction center said they would activate a new bundle and log a call to investigate - and I should receive feedback in 13 days. I really shouldn't have to but lesson learnt - check your itemised billing!
