Why do they keep getting away with this!?!

I requested my telephone line to be converted to an ADSL line on the 14th of January 2013. After numerous phone calls and struggles, they finally converted it on the 31st of Jan. They stated that there was a problem in our complex, and that was why it took longer than usual.

After the conversion was done, I signed up with MWEB after which we realised, there was still a problem with the Telkom line. I contact them again only to hear that there is now a fault on the line! I asked them how they could do a conversion and not check for faults... no answer...

This occurred on the 31st on Jan and as to date my line is still not working. I am now paying MWEB for services I can't use and Telkom is charging me R299 line rental for a line I have not been able to use. They keep telling me that they will escalate the problem and that there is a problem in the complex... I don't see why their problems should affect me.

When will they sort this out. It's been almost 3 weeks. They have unqualified personnel and are refusing to let me speak to a supervisor!

This service is a new low!! I can't believe Telkom is our primary telecommunications provider! PATHETIC!!!
