Not communicating that mweb is unable to migrate

On the 2nd of January 2013 I applied for an mweb 1mb adsl uncapped account including line rental. The sales rep explained the adsl line rental will take effect on 1 Feb but the uncapped internet would be available immediately. I had to fill in some paperwork witch was done. On the 11th of Feb my internet was giving problems so I called mweb (thinking that I'm now a mweb customer when it comes to hosting of adsl line) to assist me on my line just to find out that my adsl line rental is still hosted by telkom and apparently there is a order on my account at telkom and that is the reason.

Now what I can't understand why this was not communicated with me and why must I do the sales work for mweb. If they told me there was an issue with telkom I would have sorted it out but mweb felt they did not need to do anything to let me know on what was happening. To crown my frustration I discovered today that my banking details was captured incorrect by sales rep as well. Luckily for mweb they did not hesitate to sort out that problem so they can get paid.
