I have been with Telkom for over a year now, paying R822.57pm for a 1Mb ADSL line. I phoned in to ask what it is that I am paying for exactly and they said I am actually paying for a 2Mb line. I asked them to simply either change it to a 2Mb line or credit me for the time I over paid, which was 7 months in total. I was doing some research and found that they have a 4Mb line for R847.57. In fact I was paying almost the same amount for a 4Mb line and getting a 1Mb line on a 2Mb package. I logged credit disputes and awaited calls from the right department as I was promised I would get. It took almost 2 weeks for the person to get to me, and I explained to them that it is very unethical that I have to wait so long for something so simple.
I asked them to please cancel my account and do it properly for this 4Mb line so I can get my money back and pay for the correct ADSL line. I am sick of waiting and it is driving me mad. I feel that my money is being from me and I am never going to get it back. It is a simple fix, honestly it wont take an entire day to apply this solution.
