On the 21st Dec 2012, I purchased a MTN Nokia X2-02 cellphone from CNA Catleton Centre, purely for its dual simcard feature, however, I was unable to use other networks (8ta & Vodacom), so after being sent from pillar to post by Maponya MTN, I then returned it to CNA on Jan 14, 2013 (was treated with disrepect there) and was referred to MTN Caleton Centre walk-in store and there, I was assist by Skhumbuzo, who phoned around and eventually took my phone and booked it in for repairs. He also made copies of POP and assured me that the phone would be ready after 2 weeks and to date, it has been a month and I been visiting the store twice per week with no trace of my phone. Today I called MTN's repair Centre (0839000349) and spoke to Gugu. Gugu told me before I can receive my phone, I need to pay R300, as they did not receive any POP, but to my surprise, copies were made and on the repair form, the POP Supplied/Attached box has been ticked off, so why must I pay and why must I wait that long. Also, why was the phone blocked and only opened for MTN simcard, when ICASA stated that no cellphones should be blocked from using other networks/service providers? Worse, I had do the follow up!
