Worst cellphone repairs ever expeirenced

I took my daughters Blackberry 8520 which is under guarantee to MTN Riverside Mall for repairs - the phone freezes up and was not charging, they booked the phone in and told me I will get a sms within 3 weeks. I went to the store today (MORE THAN 4 WEEKS LATER- NO SMS RECEIVED) to find out if the phone is back. They casually took out the "Repair Book" - there must have been about 30 entries after mine. i asked what was wrong - the store attendant told me they did an software upgrade. I took the phone home to find that they did DID NOTHING. I took the phone back not ONE of the attendants could give me proper feedback. apparently I must pay for the repairs as it is "external damage" They could not tell me why and how much, they do not give loan phones either. They took the phone back and will send it back to MIDRAND. CUSTOMERS DO NOT BUY ANY MTN PHONES - "PAY-AS-YOU-PHONES MIGHT BE R300 TO R400 CHEAPER BUT THE AFTER SALE SERVICE IS NOT EXISTING.
