On or about the 28th of January I get a call from Vodacom to sell me an upgrade that will save me money.
I am promised the new contract effective 2013/02/01 as follows:

SMART-M
120 anytime minutes
1.75 flat rate
Per second billing
240 free SMS
120 Mb free data
New Blackberry 9320 phone
Current off peak minutes balance transferred for 3 months
Total cost R299.00 per month

About 3 days later I get the new phone and set it up.
Today when I log into my Vodacom account I find it strange because the balance is less than R299 and I have no free minutes balances except the off-peak carry-over.
2013/02/08 10.15 am Phoned help who said my contract has not changed.
Told me to phone sales 0821950. The stupid number selection system did not work - would not take 3.
eventually accepted 2 (enquiry on order status. Listened to music and "we are transferring..."
for 20 minutes. Couldnt take it any longer and hung up.
10.35 Phoned Customer care again 082111. Put through to Sarah. Repeated my story.
held whilst she called upgrade department. After 15 minutes I get a message asking me how happy I was with the service.
35 minutes of my time wasted!! I hung up!
No follow-up from Vodacom.
