MTN - data bundle misinformation - cash loss

I purchased 1GB (R289.00) data bundle with the advise that it would work with either of my Sim cards. However it did not work in either. On going back to MTN I was then advised that the one Sim card had expired (I've never been told that this could happen from lack of use - it was a back up Sim) and the other Sim (my daily used sim in my cell ph) could not be used as it was not a pay as you go or top up Sim. I requested a refund on the basis of being misinformed. I was advised I could not get a refund or have the value credited to my account. I said that the person who sold it to me with the incorrect information to me should then have to pay me back. The supervisor was not at all helpful and told to tell me to re-sell the data to someone else. How unprofessional I thought and advised her that I would not accept a non-refund or non-credit to my account, she promised to attend to the matter the next day with the lady that sold the bundle to me but it is now three days since I spoke to her and I am still waiting. MTN service is shocking and the queus in the shop are long and they are extremely slow. When my contract is up I will most definately cancell using MTN
