I work online and need a good connection 24/5 & have been using 8ta data bundles from the end of Aug 2013 to the end of Nov 2013.
Now back in the country, on Feb 2nd 2014 I purchased a 5GB data bundle from the uninterested and unhelpful staff at shop 114, Centurion Lake Mall. None of the 3 wanted to stop talking let alone smile.
At home I inserted the USB stick into my laptop, I could not connect and got an error message.
"Not found suitable APN" "You are in roaming status, The charge will be higher".
I am using the same HSPA USB stick, same house, nothing has changed except I cannot get connected.
I am in the same good coverage area. I have also tried connecting in Pretoria, Johannesburg and other supposed good coverage areas.
I tried telephoning shop 114 and hung on for over 10 minutes but no answer.
I telephoned the customer support line, again no answer.
I gave up and bought some Vodacom data bundle, I have to say the staff were helpful, they answer the support line and most importantly it works.
