I ended my cell phone contract with Nashua Mobile in March 2013. After a few months, I got accounts from them where they deduct R5.49 from my bank account every month, I have no idea what it is for, since the statement only say Invoice.
After receiving an account once again, I decided to call them. On 6 Feb 2014, I called. First call duration was 15 mins, when you call, you get to the switchboard and then you get transferred. After about 10 mins, I spoke to a lady in the accounts department. I explained my problem, she took my details and asked me to hold. I hold the line for 5 mins, she never came back to me. I eventually ended the call- my problem not solved.
I called again, same story. After I eventually got hold of an operator at accounts (it took about 10 mins), he explained to me that the R5.49 is for insurance. I migrated to another company and have insurance with them, so why would I want insurance from Nashua. He said I must talk to the insurance dept to cancel the insurance, and will convert the line to them. The call duration was already 15 mins, I held on for another 10mins, no answer. I dropped the call. So after 50 mins on the phone, my problem STILL NOT SOLVED!!!
