Contract not cancelled after NUMEROUS attempts

My wife took out a data contract with 8ta and signed a 2 year contract. That contract ended in October last year, and we sent two cancellation forms to ensure that the contract would come to an end, as the 2 year period is up, and we do not need the service anymore.

After ignoring the cancellation forms, my wife went into a store to get the contract cancelled, and was told that everything was done. However, our account is STILL being debited for the monthly amount, after we have tried a total of 5 times now to stop it, including call centre attempts. My wife is at her wits end and I am trying to get this sorted, because you people ARE MY MONEY by debiting my account every month for a service that has expired. We signed a 2 year contract, and used the service for two years until it ran out. WE NEVER SIGNED ANOTHER CONTRACT, but my account is being debited. I want my money back that you are, AND I WANT YOU TO STOP THIS SERVICE LIKE YOU WERE ASKED 5 TIMES TO DO.

Also, the pathetic call centre is useless, and cannot do anything to resolve this. It is a disgrace that you are peoples money like this.
