On the 31 Jan 2014 i logged a complaint about Vodacom billing me for a handset which i have returned in Oct/Nov 2013 (have exact date on proof of collection slip). Vodacom have confirmed receipt of the handset as i requested that the contract be cancelled in December which they have done. Vodacom provides sms reference numbers and advises that they will contact me within 24 hours. Five days have passed and still no response. Vodacom have confirmed receipt of the handset in Nov2013 and this is clearly evident on the voice recorded calls, so why is it so difficult for the correct accounting transactions to have been put through to ensure that my account is correct.
Each time i call Vodacom, all i experience is just another incompetent person and a meaningless reference number.
It's for this reason that i cancelled the debit order on my account because Vodacom merely debited my account for incorrect amounts and secondly cancelled the contract due to poor, pathethic service and distastrous call and internet quality.
I now DEMAND that Vodacom remedies the situation with immediate effect and perhaps offers training to their call centre staff. Disgusting service!!!
