Vodacom hides behind Declaration

I have been a loyal customer of Vodacom for over 10 years and upgraded my daughter' contract early 2013 to a TALK 100 with a limit loaded. The limit been loaded was the first question I asked as I am a single mum of two and unexpected, unbudgeted bills do not fit into my monthly budget at all. I therefore took precautions to avoid these types of bills. For the past year if my daughter ever went over the limit Vodacom would call me to authorize an additional amount. Surprisesurprise this month I received a shock when my account was debited with an additional R500 which upon investigating discovered was for data on my daughters account. When speakin to Vodacom I was told that the limit is not a guarantee!! and apparently it is in the Declaration form they send me. Guess what I just checked my emails and I have never received such declaration. I am disgusted at this poor excuse and am now out of pocket for R500. I still have a whole year on this contract and can't even think how am I going to handle this going forward bcoz if Vodacom can't guarantee limit am I to expect surprise bills for the rest of the year? Im sure this goes against CPA Act as well.
