I have reinstated a debit order with cell c in Desember 2014 while doing an upgrade. I was informed that ad the end of December I will still have to pay via EFT or directly into the bank account as it is to late to process the debit order but it will be effective end of January 2014. Since Thursday the 30th of January 2014 I phoned Cell C, I even went into the branch at Canal Walk, telling the agent or service clerck that the debit order has not gone through my bank account yet. On all instances I was reassured that the debit order is in place. On Monday 2 February I was told that Cell C experienced problems with their debit order facilities. At this stage I have already received an sms notifying me that my account is in arrears. Today a second sms come through confirming that my services will be terminated if I do not pay today. On calling Cell C once again I was told that the debit did not go through maybe because off a lack of funds. I confirmed that funds is in order, we checked my banking details etc and then was informed that the debit order will be resubmitted and I must give 24hrs for response. In the meantime my services is cut. Cell C do a lot to keep their clients happy!
