I recently did an upgrade on my Cell C account. My debit orders on this upgrade did not go through, on 30th Oct & resubmitted on the 8th. I have more than sufficient funds in my account.
The bank confirmed that they have not received/declined a debit order request from cell c.
They said they use an external party for debit orders & it's possible that cell c submitted insufficient details & that the external party therefore did not submit the debit order to the bank.
My account has now been suspended & I need to use the line for business calls. It is extremely frustrating. I have forwarded cell c proof of bank statements showing that I had sufficient funds on all dates. I have spent hours & hours on calls speaking to useless consultants. This has been dragging on since the beginning of this month & nothing has been done. Now I can't even use my phone!
Added to that my cell c signal is terrible! Calls keep getting disconnected & then I have go through the whole call centre process again. Andrea (consultant mentioned) did not return my calls after repeated e-mails.
Please fix the debit order, pls reconnect account, pls sort out my terrible ph line that keeps disconnecting.
