I handed in my Samsung S4 for repairs on 21 Jan 2014 (early PM). I handed it in because the battery had swollen to the point where it couldn't fit in the phone anymore & it was not holding any charge. Clearly (in my mind) the issue is the battery but I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure because I have not received one stitch of information about what is going on. I got an sms when my phone was booked in & an sms when it was delivered to the Sandton service center. Nothing about the status of the repairs or the nature of the problem. I was promised in store that I would be updated every step of the way. Further more, I call the services call center on Wednesday 29 Jan 2014 to get an update & they said the phone is ready to be dispatched & "I should get my phone either today if not, tomorrow". To this day (4 Feb 2014) I do not have my phone and when I went in store last week Friday to resolve the issue I was told "I can can either wait or go get it myself! " WHAT? Are you serious! They did nothing to resolve the fact that I have been waiting days for my phone to be delivered (down the road) from Sandton to Rivonia except blame RAM! Rude and utterly unacceptable!!
