After being kept on hold for 2 days still no joy

We have had endless issues with our Telkom line, ADSL and internet since becoming customers in December 2013.
My children are home schooled which requires an internet connection which we have not had since Sunday. I have been trying to get through to the call centre for the past 2 days. The automated voice tells me that they are aware of my calll yet no one answers.
Telkom dont give any alternative numbers.
I just want to speak to an intelligent human being that can help resolve my problem and am slowly going insane!!!
We did manage to get through once but where cut off.
I can remain on hold for what seems to be a life time and then eventually get cut off!
Time is money. Who is going to refund me for the time i have lost trying to get through to the Telkom call centre.
I still have no internet. I went to a telkom direct shop and nothing seems to have been resolved.
I would like to educate my children!
