I refer to the following: https:///vodacom/complaints/r8800-bill-1313203. I received a call from Vodacom stating that the investigation "suspects" that the reason for the high data usage was an email and I will still be liable for the charge. However, they cannot confirm 100% what it was. Which means they cannot conclusively prove that it was an email. Firstly, if a file is too big to send on the Z10, the phone restricts you from using the data, you have to use a wifi area. Secondly, if you cannot be 100% sure, if the investigation "suspects", then how can I be liable? Even after going to Vodacom in Midrand, and showing them my phone, that there was in fact no email, and having to have my phone wiped clean, the consultant who called me told me it may have been a mail that I could not see...??? Please explain this statement further! Either it is there, or it is not. I was then told that Vodacom cannot credit data charges. Really?? I'm sure a multimillion Rand company can do something about it. In the end, nothing was resolved for me. I cannot wait to end this contract and move. After hundreds of calls to get me onto a contract, this is what I get? No thank you!!!
