Held liable for data use but iPhone was faulty

Dear Rochell, Adnaan

My account was debited for R5521 last night.
Of this, R3359.42 was attributed to high data usage from my iPhone5.

This is the very same iPhone5 that was replaced on the 23 Nov'13 because it was faulty (as determined by the Vodacom Service/Repair centre in Midrand).
It was explained to me by Natasha (Vodacom Midrand), that my replacement phone was from the United States and it was especially sent in place of my original iPhone5.

My question is: "Why am I still held liable for the data used when the fault was with the iPhone5? ".

I have not yet received a response from Adnaan (email sent yesterday).
I feel I have a valid reason and right not to be accountable for the R3359.42 DATA USE. My account should be credited accordingly. PS. The new iPhone received works like a charm - no high data use issues.
