We first reported our landline out of order on 13.12.2013 and received a reference number, Subsequently we have an arms length in reference numbers and the fault has still not been repaired, although we constantly get sms' that the problem has been resolved and we lodge the next fault and get the next reference number. Now since this morning our line has an engaged signal when you pick up the phone. We have complained umpteen times that we do not have a dial tone when we pick up the handset and that we seem to have a crossed line. How long does it take Telkom to fix a problem? How incompetent are the technicians and the service/area managers that after almost 2 months nobody has ever come or called us to verify the problem, keep us informed as to the state of the fault? But we are supposed to pay every month. I wonder if I will get an answer from my Hellopeter complaint
