PROBLEM NOT RESOLVED IN ONE WEEK AND NO UPDATES

We have not had Telkom fixed line service in our area from Monday 02/12/2013. I sent an SMS to 30591 as required by Telkom on the same day at 09h16 on their SMS fault reporting option as their call center were not answering their phones for lengthy periods. No response was received to my SMS. Another SMS was sent at 11h28. I received an SMS on Tuesday 03/12/2013 saying that a fault was already logged but no reference number was supplied. No feedback was received. On Thursday 05/12/2013 I sent another SMS to 30591 and received a response at 15h54 saying that a fault has been logged and that I will be sent a reference number shortly. At 16h01 I received reference no. 924CRK051213 saying that Telkom will endeavor to resolve the problem ASAP. Does Telkom understand the meaning of ASAP? After doing some investigation of my own, I found out that Telkom cables in our area have been. As at Today I have received no communication from Telkom on what progress has been made on matter and by when I can expect service. Am I supposed to sit back and wait forever? I am obligated to comply with my end of the 24 month contract entered into with Telkom but Telkom fails to deliver service
