Ad service on repairs of my phone!

I sent my phone in to be repaired at the vodacare store in canal walk in the 20 of January 2014. I got told that it would take 5 to 10 working days to repair. I got asked to please switch off my ifind my iPhone on icloud, which a technician helped me do and the manager on duty confirmed it was off. I then received a message this morning saying that my phone was ready for collection. To my surprise I get there this morning and found that the repair centre in Jhb sent the phone back without repairing it as according to them the device was not switched off on icloud. Why was i not contacted from jhb to be told i need to check my status on icloud and switch it off again. I then got asked to log on to cloud which I did and it said offline. The. Technician removed my phone from cloud and said that my phone is now off. To then be told that they don't know how long it will take to repair. I then asked for a loan phone as I run my business from my phone. I got given an LG phone that didn't even have access to whatsup, how can you give a client a phone that is inferere to the one they use... I am a client the spends well over R2000 a month on my contract. Pls assist
