Frustrating and unacceptable

On Tuesday 5th my Iphone 5 stopped working. The following morning I went to the Norwood branch who said the phone is under guarantee and will have to be replaced. They suggested going to the Sandton repair centre which I immediately did.
I was seen by Nico who said the phone would need to be sent away.
I also asked him if i could log onto the internet to look for my iPad which we did. He also told me that there were no loan phones and after complaining I was given a very basic phone. I had already left the parking when I was phoned by Nico to come in again to log onto the internet and delete the phone from the find my phone app. I was in the store from about 10 until after 1230. Maria was helping and she said if she would call if there was a problem.
I have called the branch and advanced repair centre to explain my frustration as I cannot hear the ring, cannot see the messages and have no contacts. Today I received an message that my phone is ready for collection. I postponed a meeting to go to collect and was told that it was not repaired as it was still connected to the ICloud. Why did that technician not call me?
This is absolutely unacceptable and inexcusable.
