Billing issue and now being ignored

I've send numerous e-mails to MTN pertaining to my previous months cellphone account/statement. The amount billed is extremely high at R5000 and I requested a detailed breakdown as to the usage being billed. The response I received was only for URL access and did not provide any clarity, second request I received a response to say the billing is correctly calculated. It is still not giving me a clear indication of what I was charged for. This is a relatively new smart phone and I was not informed on how to work and avoid data roaming nor was I informed on available data and what I will pay for data. As I consumer I feel I have a right to be informed of this and I'm now not getting any response to my request. It appears from me talking to friends/colaques that these smart phones roams constantly or updates etc. IF that is the case I fail to understand why I am to be billed for it seeing that I was not properly informed. In my opinion surely it will only be fair to be charged for actual usage and not for a phone that is roaming while lying in a handbag not being used? I've had this account for a number of years and this is a first, I do not feel I am considered a worthy client :(
