I bought a 1 gig data bundle from the Vodacom branch in Brooklyn. When I got home to use my device, it didn't want to connect. So I phoned the Vodacare line, they said that the sim has expired. So I went back to the shop the following day to get a sim swop, the person assisting me was Solly, I asked him whether I will loose my unused data, and he said no, because the number stays the same. Fine. When I got home again to connect, the device could connect, no problem. However, on Saturday, I couldn't connect again. So, I went back to the shop, then saw the long queue and decided to phone the Vodacare again. The lady who assisted me said that the phone number has been reported as!
So on Monday, I went back to the shop to sort out this problem. Apparently Solly was supposed to give me a new number. So basically he didn't do his job properly. I asked the assistant Manager Louis to ask the store manager to phone me, as I would like to get a refund for the 1 gig data. 2 days later, and I haven't heard anything.
Come on Vodacom, what is the issue, don't you want to keep customers happy?
