Agents have no idea what's going on with iphone 5s

I have been a Vodacom client all my life. My first problem started when I pre ordered a Gold iPhone 5s. When the consultant phoned me, I was advised that I cannot upgrade to the iPhone 5s, as I was in the wrong portfolio. Lucky they rectified that. I had to restart the upgrade process and was advised that the Gold was out of stock. I settled for a silver one. Now there is a new problem. They do not have stock, not of the gold or silver. What is the use of a pre order if no stock will be available? The call centre agents do not know what they are talking about. On Friday, I was advised that the phone will be delivered on 18 November 2013. I still haven't received the phone or even a call to confirm the delivery address. This morning I was told that the phone is still on back order. I phoned a again and was advised that Ram has not received the stock yet. What is the use in pre ordering, and upgrading with Vodacom if the do not deliver on their terms and conditions, but they are very quick to show you the terms and conditions. All I want is a straight forward answer, when I will receive my phone. If not I will cancel the upgrade and find a new network provider.
