Refuse to upgrade my contract

I am trying to upgrade my cellphone (which is long overdue for an upgrade!) and am being told that i cannot upgrade due to a bad payment profile, when i have never defaulted on a payment to Vodacom in the 7 years that i have 3 contracts with you guys!
The original contract was on a weekender plus contract, which was R139 a month. Off course, it is no longer possible to get a phone for that amount, so in trying to get an Iphone 5C, they would need to upgrade my portfolio (R399 a month).
I have 2 defaults on my ITC (one is an error and the other a medical aid default, both of which are FULLY PAID) and have provided all the supporting documents to Vodacom. Nevermind that i have never defaulted on a payment in the 7 years that I am a vodacom customer, they refuse to do the upgrade. I am stuck with a cellphone that is more than 2 years old and they will not upgrade it.
I have 3 contracts with Vodacom and am very tempted to cancel all 3 and move over to a network that treats their customers with respect and has the common sense to review each case.
I am disgusted at the lack of professionalism that i received from Vodacom.
