Vodacom also billed me for so called "content services" from Mira networks. Initially they accused me of subscribing from a website and then of replying to an sms. After I investigated the matter, I found two sms on my tablet - on which sms's are blocked btw- one said I must respond and the next that I was subscribed. We are constantly warned not to respond to SPAM sms's so even if I did see that sms I would NOT have responded as it is and looks like SPAM! I am now R188.00 out of pocket with it seems no way of getting my money back as I am now the guilty party according to Vodacom. The s"subscription" was blocked about 24 hrs after my complaint, after which I then tried to find some settings or procedure at Vodacom to prevent this happening again with any other content service but it seems Vodacom does not provide such a service as "they are just the billing agent". I am totally disgusted with Vodacom's attitude towards their customers.
