Vodacom have been billing me for what they call content services for two months now without my knowledge, on my 3G data contract. When I enquired, I was told it is a subscription service, I further enquired as to what this service was for and what I was getting from it, and was told that it is not a Vodacom service however they will give me a number (30333) to cancel it via SMS! Here is what puzzles me, if this is not a Vodacom service why is it coming of my Vodacom 3G account, what am I receiving for the R60 odd that Im billed for; when exactly did I sign up for this. Is Vodacom in possession of the contact I signed unaware for this Content Service Subscription cause I would like a copy of it. Just imagine if random subscriptions could be put on your bank account via debit orders and the bank told you that they can't help you cause its not their service! This unscrupulous billing needs to come to an end or I am cutting my losses and cancelling my contract.
