I misplaced my mobile which had R79 airtime on it. I wanted to transfer the airtime to my brother's ipad and was informed that this service was no longer offered at the call centre. I then tried the chat facility to find out how I could top up my ipad. I first spoke to Elrdige who was helpful until the chat got cut. I then tried a couple of times to get back on chat with someone my chat was not answered. I used a different name and number and low and behold my chat got answered. This however is how the conversation went:

Mmakgoropedi> Thank you for contacting Telkom Mobile, you are chatting to Mmakgoropedi, how can I assist you?
You> could you please tell me how to transfer airtime from my phone to ipad
You> r u there
You> hello, r u there
You> Mmakgoropedi are you assisting me or what as since we;ve started this chat about 10 minutes ago you haven't responded You> That's alright. There's a quick fix for situations like these. We have the Consumer Watch Dogs but my personal favourite is Hello Peter. That should get your manager's attention. I would say thank you but I'd be wasting my time I've had bad service from 8ta and I'm seriously considering switching back to my old netwo
