I have been a customer with Vodacom for many years! Last year when upgrade time came along I upgraded my contract and got an iPhone 4s. On my previous contract I had a Blackberry, and obviously needed to pay BIS! I'm sure you can see where this story is going. On a monthly basis over the past year you diligently debted my account with what ever amount of call time/data usage you saw fit- INCLUDING BIS charges! How was this picked up, when I called to block my numbe because my phone was - and the centre agent wanted to know whether my BIS should be cancelled! ARE YOU SERIOUS! On the system I have an iPhone, but you charge me for BIS services, why the would I need it. When I asked the agent about it, she told me it was my responsibility to cancel it! OH REALLY! Surely the assistants at CRESTA or WESTGATE could have told me that- but alas they didnt! Surely your systems are equipped to pick up such inaccuracies? Or do you just like taking consumers money? I WANT A REFUND!
