Vodacom Talking Points - What a joke - No value

I am a 16 plus years customer of yours. Your in store computer says I am a "high value customer". For numerous reasons I have kept a prepaid 082 number active. Expense is now a concern & I am about to move it to a Red Advantage plan. Before I can do that I wanted to use my Talking Points. In Vodacom's words "We're rewarding your loyalty to our network every time you recharge". I have almost 2500 points for about 12 months of recharging - this equals to R25, 000 of cash spend with you in less than a year (1 point equals R10 spent).

A Vodacom store showed me a list of phones I can use these points towards. (1) I cannot use 2500 pnts - I am only allowed to use max 2000 pnts towards a phone. Why? (2) I can only get minor savings on some smartphones. Example: If I use 1000 pnts on an Apple iPhone5 32GB I get the phone for R10, 840. This is R1341 ABOVE the selling price from an iStore! Not only would I use my points to get the iPhone I would have to pay in an extra amount of R1341 for the reward of being your customer. Haha! It's the same with an XperiaZ. S4 & Lumia gets about R500 off at 1000 points!

Rewards? loyalty? What a joke.
