RIDICULOUS ACCOUNT BALANCE

A few years ago, I received a call from an MTN customer services consultant, advising me that the free minutes will no longer apply, and that it will be replaced by an airtime value. I was told that this would save me money.
The firs month, I received a bill in excess of R 2000, whereas I was used to paying my monthly fixed cost of around R 400,
I disputed this, and received a seemingly logical explanation that I have made numerous costly calls.
Accepting this explanation, I proceeded to upgrade my phone (the supposedly free upgrade) which meant that I was tied in to the account for another 24 months.
The next bill I received was in excess of R 6000. I was told this is correct and my dispute holds no ground.
I then cancelled my contract, and received a bill for R 19 000 to cover the cost of the so called free handset upgrade.
Disputes continue, legal fees and interest accrues and I am under debt review.
When i tried to have this account placed under debt review, I received such apprehension from MTN legal it was unbelievable. A while ago, MTN told me it is under DR. It is not, will not be and the account is now in excess of R 62 000.
I have done everything to resolve this matter.
